The wastewater treatment center of Taihu national tourist resort in Wuxi has a total designed output of 32,500 t/d, and the effluent quality complies with the Class IV water standard of Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water except TN and SS. The tail water purification project mainly adopts the advanced purification method of constructed wetlands, including pre-aeration tank, surface flow constructed wetland, vertical subsurface flow constructed wetland and biological stabilization pond.
The designed effluent of tail water wetland (except TN) will meet the quasi-Class III water standard in Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water (GB3838-2002).
